10-Year Vision for Dementia in Hong Kong

- Stakeholder Opinions Survey 

This video summarises the opinions of 190 stakeholders from different sectors regarding their vision for dementia service and related developments in Hong Kong in the next 10 years. More than half of the opinions came from persons with dementia and family carers. The next step of the project is to invite representatives of different sectors to in-depth discussions for co-designing a dementia action plan in response to the needs of Hong Kong.

Introduction to STRiDE

In this video, Ms Adelina Comas-Herrera introduces the objective, research method and strategy of an international research project on dementia "STRiDE" (Strengthening responses to dementia in developing countries). The main purpose of STRiDE is to strengthen the whole care system and to maximum the way that people with dementia can live well. She responses to the following three questions:
1. Would you explain briefly what STRiDE aims to achieve? 
2. What are the key strategies or methods used in STRiDE? 
3. Why are these strategies important in helping people living with dementia to live well?

Introduction to Theory of Change (ToC)

In this video, Dr Erica Breuer introduces the content and purpose of Theory of Change (ToC), which is an approach  to develop a program theory. It helps to think about how programs want to reach an impact and it can be used for monitoring and evaluation. She responses to the following three questions:
1. What is theory-of-change? Is it a theory and what does it do? 
2. Is a theory-of-change useful only for programme evaluation? Where has it been used in the areas of mental health and aged care? 
3. What is the relevance of theory-of-change in ensuring programme/policy impact?
